The first training sessions on shelter and intercultural coexistence of the project were held

On March 15th and 19th the first trainings on shelter and intercultural coexistence of the Playing for refuge project were held.
On March 15, a four-hour training session was held for the technical team of the Navarre Baseball and Softball Federation and the staff of baseball clubs, given by Ainara Iribarren (Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid-CEAR) and Miriam Moreno (Red Cross) and attended by three members of the Federation.

On the other hand, on the 19th a training session was held for the staff of the Navarre Institute of Sport and Physical Activity (INDAF) of the Government of Navarre, this time lasting two hours and also given by Ainara Iribarren and Miriam Moreno. A total of 10 people participated in the session.

In both training sessions, which were highly valued by the participants, aspects such as the right to asylum (the Law on Foreigners and the asylum procedure), refugees and the migratory phenomenon (who come, why they come, how they come and where they come), the reception system in Spain (reception itineraries and their psychological aspects) and intercultural coexistence (policies and programs for the social inclusion of refugees and the community aspects of social inclusion) were addressed
